Sažetak
Ivančica is one of the Croatian leading footwear manufacturer. In 2012, footwear manufacturer Ivančica implemented SAP ERP enterprise resource planning system and business intelligence (BI) solutions to optimize business processes, product quality, and process communication. However, the infrastructure for the SAP and VMware environments needed a new setup to cope with development strategy of the Ivančica company. To solve production challenges, Ivančica moved to SAP Apparel and Footwear Solutions (AFS) and migrated to SAP HANA to improve the business intelligence and reporting situation in the short run. Ivančica Ltd. company has eliminated the production slowdown, the lower revenues and long waiting times during production process by improving the IT infrastructure for SAP HANA. Later on SAP HANA will drive SAP Fashion Management Solutions (FMS), the new and extended generation of SAP AFS and other SAP applications. Ivančica footwear company is the example of the one of the most complex SAP projects in Croatia. It started with the deployment of a consolidated infrastructure that can easily support an evolving SAP environment and a growing daily output.
