Sažetak
A compoiste map of the Vicia faba genome based on morphological markers, isozymes, RAPD, seed protein genes and mcirosatellites was constructed. The map incorporates data from 12 F2 families for a total of 654 individuals all sharing a recurrent parent. The integrated map is arranged in 15 major linkage groups (7 of which were located in specific chromosomes), including 200 loci and covering 1670 cM with an overall average marker interval of 8 cM. The present map has allowed the detection of QTLs for important agronomic traits such as seed weight or broomrape and Ascochyta fabae resistance as well as to tag a gene controlling resistance to Uromyces viciae-fabae. This map provides an efficient tool in breeding applications such as disease-resistance mapping, QTL analyses, marker-assisted selection and comparative mapping among legumes.
