Sažetak
The paper is written as a comment on the manuscript published in Gastroenterology. We are commenting on the existence of proinflammatory cytokines in un-inflamed tissues and their potential impact on the epigenetic changes observed in the commented paper. Hence, we believe that the real contribution of inflammation to the observed epigenetic changes could easily be undermined by distinguishing inflamed and un- inflamed based solely on histology.
