Sažetak
The scope and aims of medical informatics in the medical curriculum are discussed in relation to other medical subjects and to general problems of health care practice. The development of education in medical informatics is discussed and the objectives of this education are analysed. The decennial experience in teaching medical informatics at the Medical Faculty in Zagreb is presented and and discussed considering both the courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
