Sažetak
The paper describes the operator's advisory software developed for the EL-TO "Zagreb" district heating cogeneration plant. The software suggests the cost-optimal load dispatch between available generation units of a plant for given daily diagrams of heat and process steam demand at given fuel and electricity prices. The mathematical model describes complicated plant configuration, comprised of two gas-turbines with waste heat boilers, four steam generators, two back-pressure turbines, three hot-water boilers and other equipment like heat exchangers and pressure reduction stations. The optimisation algorithm minimizes the cost function built on the fuel consumption and electricity production within the constraints emerging from mass and energy balances for the plant and for each of its components.
