Sažetak
Text is an Introduction to a collection of texts which reflect on the relationship between technocratic expertise and disciplinary power in the construction of the moral economies of austerity. They explore the diverse ways in which expertise comes to appear as neutral whilst reflecting the dominance of particular disciplines, modes of thought, actors, agencies and, even, countries, over others. They all, in different ways, show how expertise is mobilised and articulated within the moral economies of austerity.
