Sažetak
The work is based on the need to promote through English as working language in the maritime industry tolerance towards otherness and other cultures, as participants in the industry have to cooperate with persons from different cultures on daily basis. It is through language that the Maritime english lecturer can bring persons of different cultures closer and contribute to developing mutual tolerance and acceptance of otherness.
