Legal English is an element of Maritime English in the higher-education Maritime English courses at maritime universities. It is essential for understanding one's responsibilities and rights in the maritime industry. Therefore, a number of exercises are suggested in the approach to teaching legal lexis and sytax to future maritime professionals.
