Sažetak
In this lecture, I will discuss contemporary controversial questions among psychiatry and addictions, their relations, the need to develope the community psychiatry, the transition from stationary thowards comunal model of treatment, and the need to suport the self-help groups and NGO´s. There is an accentuated need to overcome the partition between the addiction substances, and to develope the imperative to first see the addicted, and afterwords the addiction substance. There also aapeared the division between the ´old´ and ´new´ addictions, and an imeprative in diferentiation of therapeutical approach based on the ´Zagreb addiction school´ experience, which will also be discussed.
