Sažetak
Unlike treating alcohol addicts where there are good, developed models of treatment with a long tradition, there was almost nothing on the field of pathological gambling a year ago. In the absence of an institutional model of treatment, clubs of gambling addicts in collaboration with several expert psychiatrists took charge of measures of secondary as well as tertiary prevention. In Croatia there are a few clubs thar act through group therapy using mostly principles of therapeutic communities as well as elements of cignitive-behavioral and reality therapy.
