Sažetak
Body fluids serve as typical sources for a “proteomics-driven” discovery of novel candidate prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers. In this lecture the proteomic workflow related to sample preparation (pretreatment strategies, isobaric labeling) and subsequent LC-MS and bioinformatic analyses were described. Serum biomarket discovery in canine babesiosis and leishmaniosis were set as an example.
