Sažetak
A quality developing process and the rapid production of the complex products using new technologies are increasingly important in the race with fierce competition. Methods and procedures in the process of developing new products that are produced by material-removal process and additive technologies are the subject of this paper. At the beginning of every new product developing process, there is an idea. A good idea is the key segment of every new product. In the paper, basic additive technologies (FDM 3D printing technology and laser 3D scanning) are described and explained, as well as the software tools needed to create their own models. For 3D modeling is used CAD software SolidWorks. Programming, and generating G-Code, was performed by the CAM software Solidcam. For the purpose of experimental checking and design of the prototype, is used a postprocessor which has been developed at the Technical College in Bjelovar as a link between Solidcam and CNC Siemens Sinumerik 840 Dsl. The prototype of the developed product was first made using additive technology and then was made on a three-axis CNC milling machine which is made for such kind of purpose at the Technical College in Bjelovar. Emphasis was also placed on the used 3D printer MakerBot Replicator 2x and used 3D scanner MakerBot Digitizer. From software tools, which are an indispensable part of using additive technologies, in this work are used program tools MakerBot Desktop, MakerWare for Digitazer and Autodesk Meshmixer.
