Sažetak
The authors report on criminal law and criminological aspects in combating organized crime. The first part of the paper points to the conceptual definition of organized crime, its dimensions, characteristics and most important manifestations. The central part of the paper includes presentation on the criminal response to organized crime in terms of international and national legal sources. Below are the important activities and measures in combating the most serious crimes of organized crime. Concluding remarks give suggestions de lege ferenda with the aim of improving certain legislative solutions and more efficient fight against organized crime.
