Sažetak
The effects of urbanization are increasingly spreading over the peripheral parts of the city. The suburban parts are experiencing progress, gaining value and have a certain function. As the focus shifts on adequate growth, abandoned industrial sites in the center of the city are neglected. The brownfield revitalization of an abandoned industrial complex for the purpose of organising it into a logistics centre is being analyzed due to the increasing presence of packages and the distribution while purchasing products. Ecological products have been chosen for distribution as products of expanding interests and customer needs. Research also covers the area of the City of Zagreb through the analysis of neglected sites, through the criteria of urban revitalization, but also through logistical criteria that emphasize the traffic connection for a more adequate distribution of goods. By applying all of the above, a suggestion is made for the location of an abandoned industrial complex for organizing a logistics centre, his main and supporting purpose, also a model of distribution of ecological products in and from the logistics centre is suggested, and the synergy of all potential distributive ways of delivering goods.
