Sažetak
The Institute for Cartography at the Faculty of geodesy, University of Zagreb was founded in 1956, but the courses in cartography have been held longer than 80 years at the University of Zagreb. According to the new curruculum from 1994 all students attend in the 3rd year the courses in General Cartography, and Map Projections. Within the frame of subjects oriented studies titled Photogrammetry and Cartography, the obligatory subjects in the field of cartography are: Geoinformation System, Map Generalisation, Multimedia Cartography, Topographic Cartography, Cartography and GIS, Map Visualisation, Tehmatic Cartography, Transformation in Cartography, and two seminars: Cartography and GIS, and Practical Cartography. At the postgraduate studies, the cartopgraphic subjects in the fiels of the subject-oriented studies Photogrammetry and Cartography are: Nap Facsimiles, Geodetic Cartography, Computer Graphics in Geodesy and Official Topographic and Cartographic Information System of Croatia.
