Sažetak
Presence of the rheumatoid factor in patients with chronic juvenile arthritis was tested using the so-called „classical“ tests, i.e. the Waaler-Rose test and latex plate test, and using the quantitative photometric latex test. Only the photometric latex test showed the presence of the rheumatoid factor. Our results demonstrated that the photometric latex test is more successful in detecting the rheumatoid factor even when a low titer is present and when other tests, like the Waaler-Rose test and the latex plate test, fail to show its presence.
