Sažetak
Simulation of the solidification of low-carbon steel rail-wheel in sand mould is investigated, which is based on the derived mathematical model and program package MAGMASOFT. The mathematical model is well documented in literature, and using the program package three version of simulation with mathematical model are compared. In this matter program criteria of the solidification: Gradient, Coolingrate, Porosity, Niyama, Feeding and others which offers this program package are used. Relatively well agreement between the mathematical model and results of program package is established.
