Sažetak
With the development of modern-day 3D digitizing systems, both contact and optical, the field of their implementation drastically expanded. This ensured that different types of 3D digitizing systems have found their place in different areas of science and industry worldwide. But, as their implementation expanded, so did the demand for better and more precise 3D digitizing results of complex parts. In this paper a new approach will be shown where both contact and optical system will be combined in order to exploit their advantages. Those systems are, for optical 3D digitizing systems close-range photogrammetry, and as a contact 3D digitizing system a 3D digitizer (ie. measurement arm). They will be used together in order to fully digitize the object, by exploiting their benefits. In this way advantages of both systems combined together will aid in providing the best possible result. A brief discussion on combination of these systems will be given, and also dimensional analysis will be performed on the 3D digitizing result as a verification measure.
