Sažetak
Blind prediction and post-experimental analysis of seismic response of the RC cantilever wall are presented. The wall, designed according to the Eurocode 8 standard, was subjected to a sequence of earthquakes in the frame of the CAMUS3 project in France. By combining the empirical approach for modeling the element primary curve and standard program (LARZ) with macro element models, we succeeded in predicting the test results. However, the progressive collapse mechanism was impossible to predict. Post-experimental studies improved the close to failure model behavior by including the non-linear shear behavior. Importance of the sequence of loading and degrading mechanism in the RC wall were studied in more detail. The Eurocode 8 design proved to be efficient.
