Sažetak
The article deals with forest nurseries health situation in Croatia during 1996. Planting material for reforestation needs in Croatia is produced in 35 forest nurseries with total area of 400 hectars. In these nurseries 11 species of fungi and 17 species of insect pests have been recorded in 1996, both on broadlives and conifers. Among fungi, of the more important ones were Microsphaera alphitoides, Melampsora allii-populina, Drepanopeziza punctiformis, Scirrhia pini, Lophodermium pinastri and fusarium oxysporum. Cameraria ohridella, Caliroa annulipes, Melasoma populi, Hyphantria cunea and Phyllodecta vitellinae were some of the recorded insect pests. Thanks to repeatedly applied protective meausres, extensive damages have not occured.
