Sažetak
An overview is provided of the proces of development and transition from an on-line materials properties database to full-scale web- platform for increasing availability and citability of published materials research and promoting laboratories and research capabilities. The main goal is to collect and systematize detailed experimental data and features of constructed relevant materials published in high quality scientific publications and make them accessible, searchable and comparable to technical and academic community members via online databases. Furthermore, platform is aimed to increase the visibility of university and faculty laboratories, most of which are not presented online, and is complemented with a directory of laboratories and providers of industrial services.
