Sažetak
Main purpose of STSM was to study and analyze application of Bridge Weigh-in-Motion (B-WIM) measurements, as a part of Structural health Monitoring (SHM), in load carrying capacity assessment of existing road bridges. The long term outcome of the research would be to create a valuable link between a certain indicator measurement (B-WIM measurements) and corresponding structural performance of interest (existing bridge reliability). The main focus during my stay at ZAG was to relate B-WIM data with theoretical bridge models, developed in Sofistik software, in order to upgrade them and to obtain more realistic assessment results. Results and conclusion from this short term visit would help in quantifying the value of B- WIM as a part of SHM process in the area of existing road bridges assessment.
