Sažetak
WHO has already established the main factors influencing health those being socio-economic factors, way of life and physical environment. The risk factors in relation with the way of life are nutrition, physical inactivity, smoking, alcohol consumption and use of drugs. The sample comprised 202 male and female students. Smoking and alcohol consumption habits were determined with questionnaires completed anonymously on voluntary basis. According to the results 20.5% of male students and 25.4% of females are smoking which is less than in average Croatian population of the same age. About 70% of students are consuming alcohol, mostly beer(0.5L) and wine (0.2L).
