Sažetak
When we started to think about the different aspects of this building, the main problems we saw were a lack of space for any school activities, some rooms faced the wrong direction and the dining spaces were too small. Our idea was to connect the two schools with horizontal east to west communication, but keeping the north and south sides of the school visually and physically connected. The two schools are already visually and physically connected by a long hallway on the ground floor and by a hallway/open space on the second floor. In need of a bigger dining room, we reserved the north side between the two gyms completely for the kitchen and the dining room with a view to the sport courts and green outdoor spaces. A long polyvalent hall connects the dining room to the rest of the building complex, which can be used by both schools or can be rented to external users. The classrooms are located alongside the outer walls providing space for classes of a different kind of set up.
