Sažetak
Contrary to the consolidated block construction of the district Donji grad, the decomposition of this urban matrix is noticable in the area of Trešnjevka in the south-west direction. Redefining the block itself was led by opening the plot to a newly planned park as a kind of its extension. In an urbanistic view the space is designed using double objects with a very clear and successful concept of separation, in which one segment is meant for is business and the other for residential purposes with a gradation of a third elements (bridges) in between. The residential part consists of public and private spaces. This structure is connected by internal stairs which make it a functional whole. The construction of the connected main part is emphasised by an engineering character. The residential part has even parts for communication and lower, intimate parts for joint social activities. The shapes are narrowed and differentiated depending on their intended purpose. The construction is made of with a supporting wooden structure and cross-laminated panels.
