Sažetak
Batch and semi batch reactors are common process devices in pharmaceutical and fine chemical's industry where they are used in production of small batches of various different products. In order to develop control system for the 50 l batch reactor in Pliva´s pilot plant facility using Siemens Simatic PCS7 control system and applying the S88.01 standard, process modules are recognised ; namely heating module, mixing module, pH module, dozing module, pressure module and distillation module. For each module respective libraries of process phases are designed that can be parameterised in order to execute all operations that can be performed on given reactor unit. For a production of some specific product, batch recipe is built that consists of an ordered set of recipe operation. Each operation contains set of phases that are executed in parallel and must be parameterised for a specific batch product. Developed control system is implemented and tested in a real batch process, namely wastewater detoxification by peroxide oxidation. Plant tests showed that main goals are achieved.
