Sažetak
Methods of determining the time for machine-hand straight and curved seam sewing operations are described, as based on systematic investigations and measurements made in actual sewing operations. Measurements were performed in the laboratory of the Department of Clothing Technology, Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, using modern measuring equipment. Garment sewing processes were also recorded in plants, during actual garment manufacture. Video recordings were analysed and sewing operation times extracted. On the basis of the results obtained, a three-dimensional graphic representation was developed and a mathematical model constructed to explain the interaction of the above parameters. Newly developed method was verified by comparison with the data published by other authors.
