Sažetak
This report describes the experimental setup and its construction. The setup will be used as a part of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) system emulating behavior of modelled oil drilling rig systems: (i) rotary drill-string electrical drive (top-drive control system), (ii) draw-works electrical drive for longitudinal drill-string motion (WoB/RoP control system), and (iii) coordinated control system for multiple speed-controlled mud pump drives. The setup is composed of mutually equal “drive” and “load” induction motors powered by equal variable speed drives (VSDs), mechanically coupled using a flexible coupling. Also, a flywheel was integrated into the intermediate shaft to provide additional rotational inertia.
