Sažetak
This invited lecture addressed the issues of how learned societies, Academies, can contribute to making SSH visibility higher. Digitalization of archival data in the widest sense of the word, collections, manuscripts etc. is a priority in the strategy of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Since in Croatia, open access platform called HRČAK (Portal of scientific journals in Croatia) has existed for quite some time, it was stressed that there was no necessity for digitalizing scholarly texts from the SSH domain. All of them are covered by HRČAK by default.
