Sažetak
Paper describes the influence of transformer stationinitiated failures on the power network reliability. Theoretical observations have been made on the models used in reliability evaluation of station contingencies. Three different approaches to incorporate the station-initiated multiple outages have been compared based on the possibility to model the actual events sequence in substation. The adequacy of transmission network have been assessed to confirm the need for accurate appreciation of station components outages, followed by protective switching, resulting in the multiple outages of system components and restorative switching, in order to partially restore the supply of the consumers, before repairing of the faulted component. The most important results of the sensitivity analysis, performed in order to determine the influence of different contingency types and station components stochastic outage data on calculated reliability indices are presented in the paper.
