Sažetak
Numerical modeling of laser beam - target interaction is described. Experimentally determined plasma parameters are averaged and can not be compared with conditions at target surface. Described model, which includes non-constant target material properties, allows us estimations of maximal values of temperature at surface of the target and produces results that can be compared with experimental data. The modeling results are consistent with thermal target heating in which laser beam is only a very intense heat energy source.
