Sažetak
This report outlines the real-time simulator concept for the verification of control systems targeted for oil drilling facility electrical drives, wherein the real-time simulator concept, comprising Advantech IPC-610 industrial PC equipped with Advantech PCL-812PG control and acquisition cards is used to run the real-time simulation models of drilling system electrical drives extended with the comprehensive dynamics of the drill-string system. The detailed mechanical and electrical design of the dual-electrical drive-based hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setup, intended for real-time verification of the verification of different proposed drilling drive control systems, is also presented, along with representative experimental results of drill-string active damping control system verification.
