Sažetak
This report outlines the real-time simulator concept for the verification of control systems targeted for oil drilling facility electrical drives, whereas a real-time simulator comprising the Advantech IPC-610 industrial PC equipped with Advantech PCL-812PG control and acquisition cards is intended to run the real-time simulation models of drilling system electrical drives extended with the comprehensive dynamics of the drill-string system. The mathematical models and corresponding real-time simulation C-source code modules implementing appropriate numerical integration methods are presented, and verified for the case of emulating the dynamic behavior of aforementioned drilling system electrical drives within the software environment.
