Sažetak
This work presents an algorithm focusing on unifying human localization techniques and head tracking for synthesizing virtual audio environments. The focus of the paper is on using readily available devices with minimum extra hardware and free sensor data acquisition software for those devices. Free HRTF databases are used to synthesize audio environment using a MATLAB based program with variable input parameters allowing trade-off in terms of latency and sound quality. The real-life applicability and shortcomings of the algorithms are presented and discussed.
