Sažetak
The paper considers the need and the possibility of building a high-speed Adriatic railway line in the Adriatic-Ionian corridor, as part of the overall network of high-speed European railway lines. The authors consider and emphasise the economic value of this project within the technological development of Croatia with the Adriatic railway line as a precondition of integration into the European exchange flows. They study and assess the construction, traffic and economic parameters of such a project.
