Sažetak
The aim of this research was to analyse the relations between the amount of leisure time and memership in sports clubs among elementary school pupils, focusing on gender differentiation. The sample included a total of 157 students (78 boys). Taking into consideration the significance of physical activity, especially during puberty, which is a critical period of habit formation, results clearly indicate that membership in sports clubs is a predictor of the development of a variety of child development areas.
