Sažetak
In today’s conemporary information society risk management and protection of business data are becoming key issues. The development of new tehcnologies opens the new markets but also, comparatively, it brings up the new questions: firstly the question of security, then protection of data and, consenquently, the question of legal protection of data as the key corporate value. In this paper, the author carried out research on the application of information security management systems in th Republic of Croatia. Emphasis will be placed on ananlysis of existing models of security and risk maganement, as well as information security legislation as a foundation to support budiness decision making.
