Sažetak
The monitoring of biomass production showed positive reaction on amount of proteins in media. The best media for biomass production were mSeed and Seed at temperatures of 20 and 25⁰C. Slow growth of strain shows very high amount of secondary metabolites. During investigation of secondary metabolites almost all detected compounds were completely new. From known compounds, Bassianolide, a compound known to be produced by Beauveria family, first time was detected to be produced by Beauveria brongniartii. Also for two other completely new compounds, bb_1 and bb_2, structural proposal was made. All compounds that have been produced in higher amount are non-polar. For future research, to identify other compounds it is necessary to perform a MS3 experiment for determination of fragments that it is impossible to identify only by MS/MS experiment. Farther more, for detection of exact position of all atoms in compound, NMR technology is needed. After isolation of certain compounds, biological tests are needed to prove entomolophatogenic abilities. Except testing it’s affiances on Melolontha melolontha, it is necessary to test Beauveriana brongniartii's effects on other insects and its effect on balance in nature.
