Sažetak
Regenerating towns and cities significantly impacts local populations. Although sport and tourism are important and relate to creative change, this chapter is not interested in tourist perceptions or the wider impacts of sports tourism. Instead we are interested in social impacts and local opportunities gained from sports-led regeneration. To extend our previous research, we outline in this chapter an approach that focuses on longitudinal data collection. Specifically we want to find out how locals take advantage of new enterprise or entrepreneurial opportunities and how new facilities, amenities and infrastructures are used by locals to increase well-being, overall sense of community, and pride in place.
