Sažetak
The Republic of Croatia is famous fo its sports tradition and excellent results of Croatian female athletes such as Janica Kostelić, Tamara Boroš, Blanka Vlašić, Ana Jelušić, Danijela Grgić and their team colleagues. The priorities in Croatian sports strategy for female athletes are the promotion of physical culture, sport and sports recreation with the aim of involving the biggest possible number of women in physical activity. The Croatian Women in Sports Commission made the analysis of pros and cons of the Croatian educational system ant the position of female athletes in the system.
