Summary in English (no more than 1000 characters with spaces): Main characteristics of (agri)business today are high competitiveness, liberalized trade, constant growth by acquisition and merge, specialisation and high fixed costs. In order to grow, innovate and compete in the market(s), a company must constantly invest. The goal of the paper is to evaluate the feasibility of investment in fertilizer plant on the case of Interim ltd. Using business planning tools, we are going to evaluate the external business environment, internal strengths and weaknesses, analyse market and create the marketing plan, formulate organisation and management and calculate financial effects of investment. Finally, business and financial risks will be analysed by sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis. We assume that investment will increase sales and profit of Interim ltd, increase the number of employees and, in the medium term, increase the competitiveness of the company.
