Sažetak
The objective of this study was to examine the basic anthropometric characteristics and standing long-jump performance of elite soccer players, from beginners (U8 to U19) to seniors (19+). Data showed two phases of rapid increase in body height (between U11-U12 and U14-U15) and three stages in body weight (between U11 and U12, U14 and U15 and U16 and U17). Enormous progress in jumping performance occured one year after peak height velocity (between U15 and U16).
