Sažetak
The plurality of perspectives represented in this volume instruct us about the omnipresence of metaphor in producing artefacts of most diverse kinds, which cognitively furnish the world we live in. If the nature is an 'abecedarium naturae', a 'book of symbols', and the world a 'gigantic cryptogram', then the language in which they are written must be to a great extent metaphorical. The volume is a collective attempt to decipher, interpret, and understand metaphoricity beyond its language, and aesthetic, usage and see it rather as a cognitive tool capable of shaping our experience and knowledge of the world.
