Sažetak
The past decade witnessed an amazing growth of interest in the field of face detection and resulted in a tremendous explosion of its different purposes such as human computer interface, face recognition, image database management and to various human computer interaction domains. In the paper we present a fast and easy to implement algorithm for face detection that is based on skin detection and Hu moments. Our algorithm is invariant to the position of the face and experimental results demonstrate successful detection.
