Sažetak
This work demonstrates the application mode of the "TANK" run-off model on the Botonega catchment in Istria, Croatia. Botonega catchment is the catchment area of a small water accumulation serving the purposes of balancing out the flood wave and water supply. Watertightness of the accumulation itself is good. Data from the meteorological station assembled within the catchment were on disposal, as well as water level measurements in the accumulation. On the basis of those data, model calibration and verification of inflow results in the accumulation, obtained by a simulation were conducted. The work describes model creation system, as well as model operation and its possible application. "Tank" model, as a mathematical run-off model system is simple to create. No catchment condition analyses are necessary to create the model, if there are reliable data for model calibration. Simulation results obtained through this model are satisfactory in application, during the compiling of regulation book for accumulation management.
