Sažetak
Beta cells of infiltrated islets seems to get sensitive to FAS-induced apoptosis by translocating the cystein-reach domains to the cell surface.The results of the intracellular FAS staining indicate that parts of the transmembrane domain and/or intracellular death domain are expressed in beta cells independent of cytokine exposure.
