Sažetak
Airtightness plays a significant role in the energy efficiency of buildings since it influences building energy consumption. Decreasing energy consumption is important from ecological and an economical reason. Reasonable airtightness values can ensure significate savings of energy consumption. Those reasonable values are usually defined by national regulations. This paper presents a brief explanation of the blower door method used in field-testing of buildings airtightness. On site measurements were conducted during the years 2016 and 2017 in city of Osijek in Croatia and city of Novi Sad in Serbia. Results of airtightness field measurements were analysed and compared with results gained by using model for predicting building airtightness.
