Sažetak
Due to its high intensity of turbulence, hydraulic jumps are very attractive to study but also very important phenomenon from the practical point of view. To perform a particular parametric analysis of the flow inside hydraulic jumps, the software OPENFOAM was used to numerically reproduce the flow field. The k-ε turbulent model was used to simulate the dissipation of mechanical energy caused by the viscous forces, and to approximate the turbulent structure of the flow.
