Sažetak
To study the dynamics of water infiltration in intergranular soils, a modern replica of the Darcy experimental apparatus is constructed in Laboratory for Hydraulic Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka. The experimental setup consist of a vertical tube equipped with probes for measurement the soil saturations and piezometers for measurement the change in hydraulic head along the flow. The experimental analysis is focused on determining the relationship between the retention time at the particular soil layer and the characteristic parameters of hydrological conditions at the soil surface.
