Sažetak
The focus of this work is an analysis of the foreign media perceptions of Dubrovnik during Croatia's Homeland War (1991-1995) and its relevance to Croatia's state independence. Besides an analysis of the basic features of contemporary media in shaping public opinion and their influence on political decision-making, the author also considers the phenomena of „acceleration history“ and „real-time history“.
